University of Washington School of Medicine Pediatric Residency Training |
The Country Doctor Homeless Teen Clinic has been an institution for the pediatric residency program for more than 20 years. Youth from all over the city visit the clinic where many services are available including preventive care, acute care, immunizations, STD and pregnancy testing, naturopathy, massage and acupuncture.
All residents have the opportunity to practice at this clinic site during their adolescent rotation; however, some residents choose to volunteer to spend additional time at this site.
The residents who participate in this clinic care for out-of-home adolescents from many backgrounds and locations.
